Our technicians must have the experience they need to correctly diagnose, service and repair any of their air conditioning issues while making sure the client feels valued and appreciated.

Job Overview:

Cool & Heat Air Conditionng is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician who is dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day to join our team. Our Service Technicians are responsible to diagnose all aspects of the HVAC system. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, residential & commercial. This is a full-time position, possible part time as well. Hourly rates are offered based on experience, with additional commission opportunities available.

Duties:

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues and make necessary repairs
• Conduct inspections of HVAC systems and identify potential problems or areas for improvement
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
• Keep accurate records of all work performed
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools to inspect, repair, and conduct maintenance on all types of AC systems.
• Build client relationships by providing outstanding service through strong communication and customer service skills
• Educate your clients on their systems and maintenance requirements
• Identify opportunities for clients to improve their home comfort systems through different products
• Document service performed and recommendations made by completing applicable forms, reports, pictures, logs and/or records
• Complete all tasks in accordance with quality and safety standards

Qualifications and experience:

• EPA Universal or NATE certification (required)
• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role
• Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems
• Proficient in equipment repair and maintenance
• Solid troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Attention to detail
• Must be able to follow directions and work independently
• Bilingual (english-spanish) preferred
• 2+ years of experience in maintenance, diagnosing & troubleshooting, and correcting diverse HVAC system issues (preferred) Light Commercial and Residencial HVAC.

Skills and Abilities:

• Must live in Broward or Palm Beach County (preferred)
• Must be willing to travel when needed
• Must own a complete set of tools (HVAC industry essential hand and power tools), these tools will be inspected during your interview (required). Company provides the rest of supplies & equipment.

• Must be detail-oriented and a team-player
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations

• Must be able to follow directions and work independently
