Residential Remodeler Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Residential Remodeler Technician to join our team, specializing in home renovation and remodeling projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, carpentry, and various finishing techniques, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This role involves working on diverse residential projects, ensuring quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. The Residential Remodeler Technician will collaborate with project managers, clients, and other trades to deliver exceptional results that meet client specifications and industry standards.

Duties

• Perform comprehensive remodeling tasks including framing, drywall installation, flooring, tile laying, and finish carpentry such as trim work, door hanging, and cabinet installation.
• Operate power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment, and specialized machinery safely and efficiently.
• Conduct construction inspection and quality control checks throughout each phase of the project.
• Install plumbing fixtures, electrical components, stucco, masonry elements, roofing materials, glass panels, and other building components as needed.
• Manage concrete forming, finishing, caulking, plastering, fabrication, restoration work, hardscape installation, and masonry tasks.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards while maintaining a clean and organized work site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential remodeling or general construction with a comprehensive understanding of construction management principles.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and specialized fabrication techniques.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems, electrical wiring basics, roofing methods, flooring installation including tile laying and concrete finishing.
• Ability to perform drywall installation, trim carpentry including door hanging and cabinet installation.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Have transportation and basic tools. Valid driver’s license is preferred; must be able to work independently or as part of a team on various residential projects.
