Residential Service Plumber

Responsibilities

• Diagnose plumbing issues using schematics, blueprints, and mechanical knowledge to identify root causes efficiently.
• Install, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and appliances using hand tools and power tools.
• Read and interpret construction blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installation and repairs aligned with project specifications.
• Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks with precision to meet safety standards and client expectations.
• Conduct remodeling projects by replacing or upgrading existing plumbing infrastructure while coordinating with carpenters and other trades.
• Operate heavy lifting equipment and perform manual labor involving heavy lifting to handle materials safely on construction sites.
• Adhere to all safety protocols on construction sites, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), ensuring a safe working environment at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction plumbing, including residential service work and remodeling projects.
• Knowledge of construction site procedures, schematics reading, and mechanical components related to plumbing.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding techniques, and schematics interpretation.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail during installations or repairs.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting.
• Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for travel between job sites.
• 3 years experience or more background in assembly or remodeling is a plus.
