Residential Wireman/Journeyman Electrician

The ideal applicant to this position will be a motivated individual with the desire to learn and grow, who is willing to take direction well and can effectively multi-task. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be able to work independently, as well as within a team setting.

Responsibilities:

• Read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Repair electrical equipment and appliances.
• Connect electrical systems to the power grid and transfer power from the grid to buildings.
• Troubleshoot power problems.
• Install and repair wiring, switches, fixtures, and circuit breakers.
• Keep records of work performed.

Need someone with a minimum of 2 years residential experience, and prefer a journeyman, or Residential Wireman. We do mainly new construction, additions, and remodel. Need someone to take initiative, and help free myself up more from the field. Will take an apprentice towards the end of their apprenticeship as well if a good candidate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
