Residential/Commercial Painter (5 years Experience)

Aquinas Painting Contractors is a Residential and Commercial painting company serving Rockland County and surrounding areas. We are a professional, hard-working team that produces quality work at an efficient pace.

PREFERRED APPLICANT WILL HAVE SPRAY PAINTING EXPERIENCE, PRESSURE WASHING EXPERIENCE, AND CREW LEADER EXPERIENCE.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, cleaning, and sanding as needed.
• Apply primer, paint, or other coatings to surfaces with a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, and

sprayers.

• Use masking tape and other protective materials to cover surfaces that should not be painted.
• Fill cracks, holes, and other imperfections in surfaces with putty, plaster, or other materials.
• Ensure that work areas are kept clean and safe at all times.
• Work effectively as part of a team, communicating with other painters, supervisors, and clients as needed.
• Paint areas within the expected time frame while providing a quality finished product.

Qualifications

• Maintains a valid and current driver's license.
• Has reliable transportation.
• Ability to work and communicate with others in a professional manner.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
• Successfully complete assigned tasks within the allotted time.
• Possesses strong communication and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
• Good time management and organization skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing work environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
