Residential/Commercial Solar Installer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of solar energy systems, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry standards. This role requires a strong background in electrical work, construction, and a commitment to renewable energy solutions.

Duties

• Install solar panels and related equipment on residential and commercial properties.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine installation requirements.
• Work with high voltage and low voltage systems, adhering to National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely and effectively on the job site.
• Conduct fixture installations and ensure proper plumbing connections as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on installed systems to ensure optimal performance.

Skills

• Strong electrical experience
• Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints.
• Experience as a electrician and or roofing is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with roofing techniques and safety protocols.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and forklifts proficiently.
• Previous construction site experience is essential for understanding job site dynamics.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems as they relate to solar installations is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.33 - $28.10 per hour
