Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Resort Services/Grounds Manager to oversee the maintenance, appearance, and overall guest experience of our resort property in Grand Rivers, KY. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of groundskeeping, landscaping, and resort services to ensure a safe, attractive, and welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily grounds maintenance activities including landscaping, lawn care, irrigation, and pest control.
  • Daily responsibility to manage all the service needs and request of the condo owners and guest
  • Manage resort service operations such as pool maintenance, recreational facilities upkeep, and guest amenity support.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure all outdoor areas and facilities are well-maintained and meet safety standards.
  • Lead, train, and evaluate grounds and service staff to maintain high performance and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance, repairs, and landscaping projects.
  • Monitor inventory and order supplies and equipment as needed to support grounds and resort services operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to groundskeeping and resort operations.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns related to resort grounds and services, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Prepare and manage budgets related to grounds and resort services.
  • Collaborate with other resort departments to support special events and seasonal activities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree or certification in horticulture, landscaping, hospitality management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in grounds management, landscaping, or resort services management.
  • Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, irrigation systems, pest control, and facility maintenance.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Familiarity with budgeting and inventory management.
  • Customer service oriented with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Work Environment

This position requires working both indoors and outdoors, often in varying weather conditions. The Resort Services/Grounds Manager will be expected to be hands-on and actively involved in daily operations, as well as administrative tasks.
