Position Summary:

The functionality and accuracy of the 211 database is essential to the core services of IMPACT. The database information is available to the public and other organizations through various portals including the IMPACT website, the IMPACT Online Database and the Prevention Pays text-messaging platform.

The Resource Database Curator oversees the efficient maintenance of the 211 database. Maintenance of the database includes, ensuring record completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of community resources; seeking out, reviewing, developing, and indexing agencies and programs throughout the IMPACT 211 community; and survey agencies and programs listed in the database regularly.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct the annual updating process of resources contained in the 211 database.
• Apply the Inform USA Standards for Professional Information and Referral for maintaining the IMPACT 211 resource database and remain current and knowledgeable on any changes to those standards.
• Edit the database (VisionLink) and text messaging platform (PreventionPays); ensuring accuracy, proper grammar and spelling, conciseness of descriptions, comprehensibility, and legibility.
• Assist in seeking out and reviewing organizations within the IMPACT 211 service area for inclusion in the resource database.
• Perform data entry and indexing of all information and resources as needed.
• Attend and participate in meetings in the community as a representative of IMPACT and IMPACT 211.
• Assist in the development of resource publications through printed or electronic means.
• Actively participate in and support the organization's initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
• Working knowledge of MS Office products (Access, Excel, Word, etc.)
• Inform USA Certification within 90 days from date of eligibility
• Knowledge of government agency and non-profit organizational structures preferred
• Reside in the State of Wisconsin
