The Alliance for Historic Wyoming is the only statewide nonprofit dedicated to preserving Wyoming’s historic places and spaces. We work with communities statewide to advocate for the preservation of Wyoming's Historic Places and Spaces through public programming, education, and community partnerships.
Position Overview
The Resource Development Intern plays a key role in supporting research, planning, and implementation of community-focused programs and fundraising efforts. This hybrid position offers hands-on experience at the intersection of historic preservation, nonprofit management, economic development, and tourism.
Key Responsibilities
- Update and analyze CRM/database records
- Assist in developing stewardship and donor materials
- Research and create public-facing preservation resources
- Support planning and execution of events and programs
- Conduct research on funding opportunities for communities
- Assist with grant prospecting and proposal background materials (as appropriate)
Qualifications
- Interest in historic preservation, nonprofit work, or community development
- Strong writing, research, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience or coursework in history, humanities, nonprofit administration, communications, marketing, or a related field preferred
