Resource Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Resource Manager for a 3 month contract opportunity with a possibility of extension to oversee the allocation and management of resources across various projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of project management methodologies. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage teams, vendors, and project risks while ensuring successful project implementation.

Key Requirements and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Resource Manager or Operations Manager, preferably within the Information Technology, Healthcare, or Services industry.
• Expertise in developing and executing Staffing Strategy, Workforce Management, Utilization Optimization, Forecasting and Analytics.
• Familiarity with IT Service Management and Delivery.
• A strong history of Problem Solving, Performance Management, and Process Improvement.
• Experience working with teams, mentoring, and business relationship management a plus.

Technical Proficiency:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Gmail, etc)
• Experience with NetSuite strongly preferred
• Familiarity with professional services automation (PSA) software such as Smartsheet, Resource Management, or Kantata is a plus. The candidate must, at minimum, be highly capable of quickly learning new software applications for daily job functions.

Essential Skills:

• Strong understanding of resource budgets, forecasting, and utilization metrics
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with various internal teams and stakeholders.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $70.00 - $85.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
