Our two campuses in Methuen and Haverhill have a total of 320 beds, and we are a full-service, acute care hospital offering comprehensive inpatient medical/surgical units, outpatient care, and 24/7 emergency services. We have three behavioral health units: cardiac telemetry, and critical care service lines. Our Haverhill campus offers all private rooms, and our Methuen campus offers a new state-of-the-art catheterization suite and Joint Center of Excellence, named as a Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Distinction+ Center for Knee and Hip Replacement.

Position Summary: Resource RN FT 36 Hours Nights 7pm-730am.

Job Summary:

The Critical Resource Nurse provides 24/7 support to the Rapid Response Team, Code Blue, Stroke Alert, and Code Sepsis pages. The Resource Nurse will complete a comprehensive patient assessment specific to the clinical area/unit. They will create and update the patient plan of care and document all aspects of their care thoroughly per hospital policy.

The Critical Resource Nurse focuses on improving practice and intervening in near-miss events and to improve communication between all disciplines, provide surveillance of at-risk patients, support patient safety and offer critical care nursing 24/7 for staff.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
• Experience: Must have 3-5 years of Critical Care or Emergency Room Department experience
• Certification/ Licensure:
  • Current nursing license in Massachusetts required.
  • BCLS required.
  • ACLS required.
  • Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) preferred.
