Respiratorty Therapist Part Time for Specialists Out Patient Office

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Part-Time Respiratory Therapist to join our Specialists Outpatient Office. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in respiratory therapy techniques, patient assessment, and medical documentation, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care in a collaborative environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient health outcomes while working within a dynamic outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform pulmonary function testing (PFT's), spirometry, 6 minute walks and genetic testing for Alpha 1.
• Educate patients on inhaler and nebulizer use.
• Maintain and calibrate respiratory equipment
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to evaluate patient progress and modify treatment strategies accordingly.\
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Skills

• Attention to detail in diagnostic testing
• Knowledge in EHR documentation
• Ability to work independently
• Good communication with physicians and office staff
