What You’ll Do

As a vital member of our Respiratory Therapy team, you will:

• Deliver patient-centered respiratory care across newborn, pediatric, and adult populations
• Perform clinical assessments, therapeutic interventions, and diagnostic procedures
• Operate and manage advanced respiratory equipment safely and effectively
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, disease management, and home care
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes
• Accurately document care in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Serve as a mentor/preceptor for students and new team members

️ Key Clinical Skills & Services

You’ll work with a wide range of respiratory therapies and procedures, including:

• Mechanical ventilation, CPAP/BiPAP, high-flow oxygen therapy
• Arterial blood gases (ABGs) and airway management
• Intubation and bronchoscopy assistance
• Emergency response (cardiac/respiratory arrest)
• Pulmonary diagnostics (PFTs, EKGs, Holter monitoring)
• Bronchial hygiene therapies and medication administration
• Patient education (COPD management, smoking cessation, breathing techniques)

Qualifications

Required:

• Current Colorado Respiratory Therapist License
• Graduate of an AMA-accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) – Minimum required for employment
• Current BLS certification

Preferred (or required within 6 months):

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (or eligible within 3 months of hire)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
