Respiratory Therapist (CRT / RRT) – Home Health

Position Summary
Sehma (South Eastern Health Management Associates) is seeking a licensed Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) to provide respiratory care services in the home setting throughout Broward County and Miami-Dade County.
We are willing to train motivated new graduates or therapists without home health experience.
This role is responsible for respiratory equipment delivery, setup, patient education, clinical assessment, and documentation in a field-based environment.
Compensation
Starting Rate: $35 – $37 per hour (No experience required – training provided)
Competitive compensation based on experience

Primary Responsibilities
Deliver and set up respiratory equipment including:
Oxygen concentrators
Portable oxygen systems
CPAP/BiPAP devices
Nebulizers
Ventilators
Perform respiratory assessments in the home setting
Educate patients and caregivers on proper equipment use, cleaning, and safety
Monitor patient compliance and therapy effectiveness
Communicate patient status updates to physicians and care teams
Complete accurate documentation in EHR/EMR systems
Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and regulatory standards
Travel throughout Miami-Dade and Broward Counties
Participate in on-call rotation as needed
Required Qualifications
Active Florida CRT or RRT License
Current BLS Certification
Valid Florida Driver’s License with reliable transportation
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently in a field-based role
Preferred Qualifications
Home Health or Durable Medical Equipment (DME) experience
Knowledge of oxygen therapy and PAP devices
Familiarity with Medicare guidelines
Bilingual (English/Spanish or Creole) strongly preferred due to South Florida patient population
