Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The Respiratory Therapist plays a vital role in assessing, treating, and monitoring patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions. This role requires strong clinical expertise, attention to detail, and effective collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Immediate joiners are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments and administer therapies such as oxygen delivery, aerosolized medications, chest physiotherapy, bronchial hygiene, and ventilator management.
• Conduct pulmonary diagnostic tests, including spirometry, lung volumes, diffusion capacity, and bronchodilator responsiveness following physician orders and established protocols.
• Prepare and educate patients and families about respiratory procedures, therapies, and equipment use.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain respiratory therapy and diagnostic equipment, ensuring safety and accuracy.
• Monitor patient responses during treatments and testing, identify any adverse reactions or changes in condition, and intervene promptly.
• Document assessments, treatments, and test results accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning.
• Adhere to infection control standards, safety guidelines, and departmental protocols.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential patient records.
• Stay updated on developments in respiratory care and participate in continuing education as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy
• Minimum 6 months of experience.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
