Respiratory Therapist
Advantage Respiratory Services is a local, independently owned durable medical equipment provider offering a full range of respiratory equipment for the Long Term Care Facilities for better patient outcomes. This position is in a stable Healthcare Industry with no healthcare credentialing necessary. We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our Team!
Full-time shifts Monday - Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Non-Invasive and Invasive Ventilator Experience Preferred
- Long Term Care Facility - Working with patients for better Pulmonary Outcomes. Patient Assessments and RT Recommendations.
- This role will work closely with referring physicians, hospital personnel, and other clinicians to ensure the best professional care of the patient
- Working as part of the Long Term Care Team of health care professionals to manage patient care
- Completes all appropriate initial and follow up assessments in a timely manner
- Demonstrate competence on equipment safety and troubleshooting, equipment setup, operation, and cleaning of equipment relative to assigned responsibilities.
- Provide education to Long Term Care Teams on Respiratory Management
- Follow Company policies and procedures related to the use of personal protective equipment, safety issues, infection control, and equipment maintenance.
- Adheres to all regulatory compliance areas, policies and procedures and performance improvement standards.
- Adhere all HIPAA Regulatory Compliance.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Associates Degree CRT/RRT NBRC
- Ohio License
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, time management, and problem‐solving abilities.
- Demonstrate a professional, positive demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and communicate effectively in person, over the phone and electronically.
- Successful completion of background check, drug screening, and pre-employment physical.
