Respiratory Therapist

Overview:

Are you a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist seeking a rewarding opportunity with the flexibility and independence of being your own boss? Respiratory Professional Solutions, LLC is seeking experienced Registered Respiratory Therapists/Certified Respiratory Therapists (RRTs/CRTs) to provide exceptional care to patients in skilled nursing facilities and other post-acute care settings in Elizabethtown, NC. As an independent contractor, you'll enjoy setting your own schedule while earning competitive pay.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients in post-acute care settings.
• Assess patients' respiratory status via screening interviews, physical examination, pulse oximetry, and spirometry.
• Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans based on patient needs.
• Administer respiratory treatments.
• Educate patients and nursing staff on respiratory conditions and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered/Certified Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) credential.
• Valid state license.
• Proven experience in a respiratory care setting, with nursing home experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
