Benefits eligibility for some benefits dependent on full time employment status

Duties:

• Assess, treat and care as prescribed for patients with breathing disorders
• Assume primary responsibility for respiratory therapies, including the supervision of respiratory therapy technicians
• Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures; maintain patient records; and select, assemble, check and operate equipment
• Successfully collaborate and initiate coordination of respiratory services with other resident services to ensure the continuity of the resident’s total regimen of care
• Complete, review, and ensure all respiratory therapy notes and charting are informative and descriptive of the respiratory care services being provided and that response to care is documented

Qualifications:

• Must possess a current Respiratory Therapist license issued by the state

Experience:

• Respiratory therapy: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Respiratory Therapy License (Required)
