Fast growing DME company is looking for experienced Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapists for part-time position (PRN) in Jacksonville.
This is an immediate opening.
Requirements:
- Candidates with HME experience preferred
- Experience in setting up CPAP, BiPAP, Home Ventilation Therapy & Respiratory Therapy Equipment
- Knowledge of various types of mask interface systems
- Consult with physicians to develop patient treatment plans
- Enforce safety rules and ensure careful adherence to physicians' orders
Computer proficiency
Responsibilities
- Meet with and evaluate a variety of patients
- Make recommendations on respiratory care based on their specific needs and situations
- Setup and educate patients on Vent/pap and other respiratory related medical equipment.
- Work with both the family and the patient to ensure their needs are being met, and they understand what is happening.
Qualifications
- Active credentials from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state board equivalent required
- State licensure required
- Deep understanding of respiratory care, patient care, and best patient practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
