At Advanced Pharmacy Solutions, we support patients in the home care setting by providing reliable respiratory equipment, education, and ongoing support. We’re looking for a licensed Respiratory Therapist who is dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently in the field (Greater LA Metro Area).

Position Summary

The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for delivering, setting up, and monitoring respiratory equipment in accordance with physician orders. This role includes patient visits, caregiver training, equipment troubleshooting, and coordination of respiratory services in the home care setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver, set up, and evaluate respiratory equipment including ventilators and BiPAP
  • Perform routine patient visits and ensure equipment is functioning properly
  • Train patients, caregivers, and family members on equipment use, cleaning, and troubleshooting
  • Provide education on ventilator settings, alarms, and emergency procedures
  • Support discharge planning and complete home assessments
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance, repairs, and supply needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation, visit notes, and equipment tracking
  • Assist with inventory, equipment cleaning, and organization
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule and respond to urgent issues as needed

Required Education and Experience

  • Graduate of an AMA-accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • Current California Respiratory Therapist License
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Ability to think on your feet and respond calmly in urgent situations
  • Comfortable working independently and managing a field-based schedule
  • 1+ year of respiratory or related experience preferred
  • Experience with home medical equipment is a plus
  • Spanish-speaking preferred

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Requires lifting and transporting respiratory equipment, frequent walking, stair climbing, and driving to field locations
  • Work performed in office, patient homes, and healthcare settings
  • Ability to respond promptly in urgent situations

Work Schedule

  • In-person / Field-based
  • Monday through Friday
  • Rotating on-call schedule
  • Overtime as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
