Job description

Compensation: $40 to $50 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Part-Time, Weekdays, between 8:30am to 5:30pm

About Us:

La Mesa Rehab is Located in the east county of La Mesa. We are a Comprehensive Outpatient Rehabilitation Facility (C.O.R.F.) dedicated to interdisciplinary rehabilitation. We help patients regain function and improve their quality of life through evidence-based pulmonary Rehabilitation

Role overview

You will work as part of an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. You will perform evaluations, conduct diagnostic testing, and develop individualized treatment plans. You will guide patients through structured pulmonary rehab and monitor their progress. You will play a direct role in improving function, reducing hospitalizations, and helping patients return to daily life.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform pulmonary rehab evaluations
• Implement evidence-based therapy protocols
• Monitor vitals, oxygen response, and exercise tolerance
• Administer and document 6-minute walk tests and functional assessments
• Educate patients on breathing techniques, energy conservation, and disease management
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in EMR
• Collaborate with PTs, OTs, and clinical leadership
• Maintain compliance with Medicare and C.O.R.F. documentation standards
• Assist with program development and patient progression planning
