Respiratory Therapist

Washington County Regional Medical Center is seeking compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapists to join our growing Respiratory Therapy team. Position Opportunities

Full-Time Night Shift
PRN (As Needed)

What You’ll Do

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments and patient assessments
• Set up and monitor mechanical and non-invasive ventilators (NIV)
• Administer respiratory medications and oxygen therapy
• Perform arterial blood gases (ABGs), arterial punctures, and EKGs
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and treatment plans
• Assist physicians during emergency procedures, including intubations when needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
• Ensure respiratory equipment is functioning safely and effectively
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to deliver quality patient care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and department growth

Qualifications

• Current CRT/RCP or RRT license in the State of Georgia
• Current BLS Certification required
• Current ACLS Certification required
• Current PALS Certification required
• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy preferred
• Previous Respiratory Therapy experience preferred but not required
