Respiratory Therapist

```Duties``` - Perform patient assessments to determine appropriate respiratory therapy treatments - Administer basic life support measures, including CPR, as needed - Manage airways and provide respiratory support to patients with breathing difficulties - Administer medications and monitor their effectiveness - Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans - Provide respiratory therapy treatments in acute care settings, including intensive care units (ICUs) - Monitor and interpret patient vital signs to assess respiratory status - Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and disease management ```Experience``` - Minimum of [1] years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist - Proficient in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge - Experience in medication administration and dosage calculations - Familiarity with acute care settings, especially ICU experience - Ability to work with patients of all ages, including pediatrics Skills: - Strong patient assessment skills - Proficient in basic life support techniques - Knowledge of airway management procedures - Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy - Competency in medication administration and dosage calculations - Experience in acute care settings, particularly ICU experience - Ability to work with pediatric patients - Proficient in monitoring and interpreting vital signs Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
