ABOUT THE ROLE

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

EZ Inspirations provides specialized in-home respiratory therapy to patients with complex chronic conditions — including ventilator-dependent care, chronic respiratory failure, and advanced airway management needs.

As a PRN contractor, you will carry your own caseload, work independently in the field, and serve as the primary respiratory clinical presence for your patients. This is not a high-volume, low-touch role. Our patients need a skilled, dependable clinician who can assess, adapt, and communicate clearly with families, caregivers, and the agency team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

- Provide respiratory therapy treatments and procedures per physician orders and plan of care

- Assess and monitor patient respiratory status across home visits

- Manage airway needs and perform equipment review in the home setting

- Educate patients and caregivers on disease management, equipment use, and safety

- Complete accurate, timely visit documentation

- Communicate changes in patient condition to the agency clinical team

- Maintain compliant, patient-centered care standards on every visit

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

- Valid Florida RRT credential (CRT considered with strong relevant experience)

- Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience

- Strong clinical knowledge of respiratory disease, airway management, and respiratory equipment

- Comfortable working independently in the home setting

- Reliable transportation — travel throughout Brevard County required

- Strong documentation skills and professional communication

- Weekend availability is required

PREFERRED (not required):

- Ventilator experience

- Pediatric respiratory experience

- Prior home care or field-based clinical experience

- Experience with medically complex patients
