Respiratory Therapist

HOME HEALTH RESPIRATORY THERAPIST (PRN / PART-TIME / FULL-TIME)

Passionate Care Service LLC is seeking a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist (RT) to provide in-home respiratory care services to pediatric and adult patients throughout our service area. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing patients with tracheostomies, ventilators, oxygen therapy, CPAP/BiPAP devices, and other respiratory conditions while delivering exceptional patient-centered care in the home setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory assessments and monitor patient respiratory status.
• Provide tracheostomy care and education to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Manage and monitor ventilator-dependent patients.
• Assess and maintain CPAP, BiPAP, oxygen concentrators, nebulizers, and other respiratory equipment.
• Perform airway clearance techniques and suctioning as ordered.
• Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory disease management and equipment use.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Document all patient care, assessments, interventions, and education accurately and timely.
• Report changes in patient condition and communicate effectively with the clinical team.
• Participate in care planning and ongoing patient evaluations.

Qualifications

• Current Florida Respiratory Therapist License (Required)
• Current BLS Certification
• Minimum one (1) year respiratory therapy experience preferred
• Home Health experience preferred but not required
• Experience with tracheostomy, ventilator, CPAP/BiPAP, and oxygen therapy management
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Valid Driver's License
• Reliable transportation and auto insurance
• Ability to travel to patient homes within assigned territory
