Merced Medical Supply is currently looking for a Respiratory Therapist to join our team of highly motivated professionals providing respiratory disease management with ventilators, CPAP/BIPAP education and other respiratory services. Merced Medical Supply provides services for all age groups including pediatric, adolescent, geriatric, and adult patients. Candidate must demonstrate knowledge and understanding of respiratory equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the instruction and education in the proper, and safe use of all respiratory equipment.
• Communicate with the patients, family members, Physicians, and facilities regarding patient care and any change in condition.
• Completes patient paperwork packets, and charts in a timely manner.
• Works with a compassionate attitude with patients as well as other team members
• Follow all policies and procedures as outlined by BOC
• Follows up with ventilator patients per Merced Medical Supply’s policy and procedures.
• Must be able to rotate on-call days.
• Demonstrates timeliness, compassion, kindness, and patience when dealing with patients.
• Serves as a resource for clinical questions, applications and problem solving regarding respiratory equipment.
• RT must have a knowledgeable understanding of respiratory diseases with strong education, and teaching skills.

Education and or Work Experience:

Graduate from accredited RT Program (licensed RCP)

Impeccable customer service and communication skills

Must be able to lift up to 75lbs

Must be available to work at least two days per week and participate in a paid on-call rotation for one weekend each month.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
