Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT) to join a high-acuity, large hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment and hands-on experience in advanced respiratory care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory assessments and deliver care as per treatment plans
• Manage and monitor ventilator patients
• Conduct and analyze arterial, venous, and capillary blood gases
• Prepare, test, and maintain respiratory therapy equipment
• Document patient care, procedures, and responses accurately in EMR
• Recommend clinical interventions and treatment plans
• Support care in inpatient units and emergency department
• Clean, stock, and maintain respiratory equipment and supplies

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy
• NBRC Certified Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Required
• Active Illinois RCP License – Required
• BLS (AHA) – Required
