Full Time Day Shift (7a-7p)

Provides respiratory therapy and outpatient tests to patients as ordered by physicians, according to established standards and practices.

Position Responsibilities:

• Performs all required duties associated with oxygen therapy, aerosol and high humidity therapy, IPPB therapy, chest physiotherapy, emergency CPR, continuous long-term ventilation, pulmonary function testing and arterial puncture and ABG analysis.
• Performs prescribed respiratory therapy directed toward normalizing patient with abnormalities or deficiencies of the pulmonary system.
• Performs EKGs and quality control in the performance of these tests.
• Documents all intervention on patient care records.
• Serves as a resource person for physicians and hospital employees relative to effective and safe methods of administering respiratory therapy.
• In collaboration with Nuclear Medicine and Nursing personnel, performs stress testing procedures.
• Special emphasis is placed on skills used in critical care and emergency situations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $33.00 per hour
