Respiratory Therapist - Independent Contract $45 per hour + Weekend Shift Diff extra $10/hour

Overview:

Are you a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist or licensed nurse who knows respiratory care seeking a rewarding opportunity with the flexibility and independence of being your own boss? Accel Specialty Health is seeking experienced Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRTs) to provide respiratory services to provide exceptional care to patients in skilled nursing facilities and other post-acute care settings in Cleveland, Ohio. As an independent contractor, you'll enjoy setting your own schedule while earning competitive pay.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients in post-acute care settings.
• Assess patients' respiratory status via screening interviews, physical examination, pulse oximetry, and spirometry.
• Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans based on patient needs.
• Administer respiratory treatments.
• Educate patients and nursing staff on respiratory conditions and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential
• Valid state license.
• Proven experience in a respiratory care setting, with nursing home experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
