Respiratory Therapist - NICU/PEDS

• Location: 1 Medical Center Blvd, Winston-Salem, NC 27157 (Academic Level 1 Trauma Center, 885 beds)
• Patient Population: NICU, Pediatrics, and Adult patients; diagnoses include post-surgical, pneumonia, COPD, asthma, ED patients.
• Assignment: ICU or Medical/Surgical floors based on departmental needs; no floating outside primary assignments.
• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of critical care respiratory therapy experience (Level 1 trauma/high acuity experience preferred).
• First-Time Travelers: Accepted/considered.
• Licensure/Certifications:
• NC Respiratory Care License required.
• RRT required (CRT accepted but not preferred).
• BLS required.
• For Adult RT: ACLS required.
• For NICU/Peds RT: PALS and NRP required.
• Skills/Technology:
• Critical care skills required.
• Experience with EPIC EMR.
• Preferred experience with Servo U, Servo Air, The Vest, Volara, Aerogen, Heated High Flow, cough assist.
• For pediatrics: HFJV and HFOV experience preferred.
• Support: Lead Therapists on every shift; strong teamwork culture.
• Orientation: NEO (facility) plus 1-2 days departmental orientation.
• Scheduling:
• Shift: 18:30 07:00.
• Weekend rotation: Every other weekend.
• No on-call required.
• Holiday: Work 75% of holidays.
• RTO: Requires manager approval.
• Schedule cycle: Every 6 weeks.

• Scrub color: Pewter (charcoal grey).
