PRN Respiratory Therapist (RT)
Mt. Washington Care Center – Long-Term Care Facility

Mt. Washington Care Center is seeking a reliable and compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RT) to provide respiratory care services to residents in our long-term care setting. This position works collaboratively with nursing and the interdisciplinary team to support residents with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor residents’ respiratory status
• Administer oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and aerosolized medications
• Provide tracheostomy care and suctioning as needed
• Monitor and manage oxygen equipment
• Document treatments and resident responses accurately
• Respond to respiratory-related emergencies
• Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory care procedures

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Current state RT license (RRT or CRT)
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• LTC or skilled nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills

Schedule:
PRN (as needed); flexible scheduling based on facility needs.
