Requirements

Must hold North Carolina Respiratory Therapist license.
CRT or RRT required.
Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
Minimum of 1 year full-time experience as a Respiratory Therapist (most recent experience within the last year).
Able to provide basic and advanced respiratory services including: medication administration, arterial puncture, breathing exercises, initiation, monitoring, and discontinuation of oxygen therapy, and assisting with intubation.
Must be competent working with common inpatient respiratory equipment including mechanical ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, and nebulizers.
Knowledgeable of code protocols and participates in the Code Blue and Rapid Responses.
Experience setting up and managing Nitrous Oxide is a plus!
