Blue Ridge Medical Center, located in Blue Ridge, GA, is currently seeking a Respiratory Therapist for an immediate opening. BRMC is dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality healthcare to families in North Georgia. This is an excellent opportunity for a Respiratory Therapist eager to contribute to a community-focused non-profit hospital.

Duties:

• Conduct patient assessments to identify respiratory therapy needs
• Administer prescribed respiratory treatments and medications from physicians
• Monitor patient reactions to therapies and adjust treatments as needed
• Provide airway management and support with intubations and extubations
• Perform diagnostic tests, including pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas analysis
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and disease management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to create and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document all patient interactions, treatments, and assessments in a timely manner

Experience:

A minimum of two years in a hospital setting is preferred.

Requirements:

• Must hold a Georgia License as a Respiratory Care Professional.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required for employment.
• NBRC Certified or Registered therapist is preferred.
