- Conduct respiratory assessments, oxygen therapy evaluations, and pulse ox monitoring
- Manage ventilator patients, complete vent checks, and support weaning/decannulation
- Perform respiratory treatments (nebs, CPAP/BiPAP, airway clearance, etc.)
- Document assessments, consults, and care plans accurately and promptly
- Communicate changes in resident condition to nursing and leadership
- Ensure respiratory equipment is properly maintained, stored, and compliant
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care planning
- Support facility staff with education, in‑services, and clinical guidance
- CRT or RRT credentials; graduate of AMA‑approved respiratory program
- Active Respiratory Care Practitioner license (state of Ohio)
- Valid CPR certification
- Vent certification preferred
- One year of experience preferred; long‑term care experience a bonus
- New grads encouraged to apply — mentorship available
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication with residents, families, nursing, and providers
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergencies
- Organized, dependable, and comfortable prioritizing care
- Compassionate approach to long‑term and post‑acute patients
