Twilight Gardens is seeking a Full-Time Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our clinical team on day shift. This position plays a key role in providing respiratory care services to residents in our skilled nursing and long-term care setting.

The Respiratory Therapist will work closely with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary team to assess, treat, and monitor residents with acute and chronic respiratory conditions. The ideal candidate is clinically knowledgeable, compassionate, organized, and committed to providing exceptional resident care.

Responsibilities Include:

• Performing respiratory assessments and monitoring residents’ cardiopulmonary status

• Administering oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, inhalation medications, and breathing treatments as ordered

• Managing and monitoring residents requiring BiPAP, CPAP, trach care, and ventilator support

• Responding to respiratory changes in condition and assisting with emergency respiratory interventions when needed

• Monitoring pulse oximetry, oxygen usage, and respiratory equipment

• Collaborating with physicians, nursing staff, therapy, and clinical leadership regarding resident care plans

• Educating residents, families, and staff on respiratory treatments and equipment

• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Ensuring respiratory equipment is functioning properly and following infection control standards

Qualifications:

• Current Ohio Respiratory Therapist License required

• CRT or RRT credentials accepted

• Skilled nursing, vent, or long-term care experience preferred

• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Compassionate approach to resident care and customer service
