Respiratory Therapist RT Skilled Nursing Long Term Care

Ohman Family Living is hiring a Respiratory Therapist RT to join our clinical team. This role provides respiratory care in a skilled nursing, long term care, and rehabilitation setting. You will support residents with breathing treatments, oxygen therapy, and respiratory monitoring while working closely with nurses and providers.

Position Details

• Job Title: Respiratory Therapist RT
• Setting: Skilled Nursing, Long Term Care, Rehabilitation
• Schedule: Full time, Part time, PRN

What You Will Do

• Administer respiratory treatments including nebulizers, inhalers, and oxygen therapy
• Monitor residents with respiratory conditions and report changes
• Assess lung function and breathing status
• Maintain and manage respiratory equipment
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and care team members
• Educate residents and families on respiratory care plans
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines
• Promote resident comfort, safety, and quality of life

What We Are Looking For

• Active Respiratory Therapist RT license
• Registered Respiratory Therapist RRT or Certified Respiratory Therapist CRT preferred
• Strong clinical and assessment skills
• Compassionate, patient focused approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced healthcare environment
