Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team in Rome, GA. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
• Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment, including ventilators and oxygen delivery systems.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist certification and licensure as required by the state of Georgia.
• Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
