Polysomnographic Technologist/RCP
is a qualified professional with
expertise in conducting sleep studies, sleep staging,
and
scoring sleep events according to AASM standards
. They work closely with the team to ensure
high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic sleep services
while providing an
excellent patient experience
.
Responsibilities include

patient assessment and individualized care for sleep disorders

performing polysomnography, EEG, MSLT/MWT, and other diagnostic tests
-
applying and titrating oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, and managing airways
-
trach capping, blood gas analysis, and patient education
-
calibrating and troubleshooting diagnostic equipment
-
overseeing supply inventory and mentoring staff
-
providing coverage as needed
Qualifications include

Ohio Respiratory Care Professional License
-
Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy
