Respite Care Worker in Oconomowoc

Christian Servants Home Care is seeking caregivers to provide respite care to children in our local community. This role focuses on offering supportive companionship, supervision, encouraging independence, joining them in preferred activities (art, crafts, games and reading) and offering reminders and cues for personal cares.

Flexible Schedule! 2-3 days after school or anytime on the weekends (2-3 hour shifts). Additional hours available in surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive companionship and supervision to children
• Encourage independence and positive routines
• Participate in activities such as arts, crafts, games, and reading
• Offer gentle reminders and prompts for personal care and daily tasks
• Foster a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with children or in a caregiving role preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly dependable, punctual, and professional
• Compassionate, patient, and motivated to make a difference
• Must complete a background check

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
