Respite Nanny

Set Your Own Schedule | $23–25/hr

We are seeking dependable caregivers to provide in-home childcare for families throughout San Diego. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with infants and toddlers and want consistent weekday hours with scheduling flexibility.

Overview

As a Nanny, you will:

• Provide safe, engaging in-home care for infants and toddlers (highest demand: under age 2)
• Lead age-appropriate activities based on developmental stages
• Maintain a clean and organized play environment
• Support families who need reliable childcare coverage
• No transportation of children required

Compensation & Benefits

• $23–25 per hour

Schedule Requirements

• Available Monday–Friday
• 6–8 hour shifts
• Between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Flexible scheduling based on your availability

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• Experience working with children (paid or unpaid)
• Reliable vehicle
• Valid driver’s license
• Willing and able to travel within a 20 minute radius
• Dependable, patient, and engaging caregiver

Working Conditions

• Active, child-focused environment
• Indoor and outdoor play (weather permitting)
• Light clean-up of activities and play areas

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 35 pounds safely
• Frequent bending, squatting, reaching, and sitting on the floor
• Ability to move quickly and respond calmly in urgent situations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
