1. Service Supervision
- Supervise waiters and service staff.
- Assign tables and duties to team members.
- Ensure smooth and timely food service.
- Monitor guest satisfaction during service.
2. Guest Handling
- Welcome and escort guests to tables.
- Present menu and explain specials.
- Take orders (if required).
- Handle guest complaints professionally.
- Ensure VIP or special guests receive proper attention.
3. Order Coordination
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for order preparation.
- Ensure correct orders are served to the correct table.
- Check food quality and presentation before serving.
- Handle special dietary requests.
4. Billing & Payments
- Verify bills before presenting to guests.
- Assist cashier if needed.
- Ensure correct billing and settlement.
5. Staff Training & Leadership
- Train junior waiters on service standards.
- Maintain discipline and grooming standards.
- Motivate staff for better performance.
- Conduct briefing before service (daily briefing).
6. Hygiene & Cleanliness
- Ensure tables and service areas are clean.
- Maintain hygiene standards.
- Check table setup and side stations.
7. Reporting & Coordination
- Report daily issues to Restaurant Manager.
- Monitor table turnover and seating.
- Assist in inventory of service items (cutlery, crockery).
