Position Description:
Responsible for Food and Beverage cashiering operations.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting guests with their product purchases within the restaurant.
Provide food information to guests to assist them with their meal decisions.
Communicate with kitchen staff to submit guests’ orders and to address any potential issues.
Will serve guest alcoholic beverage orders, must be 18 years old to complete this task and will be under adult supervision.
Complete other tasks or duties as they are assigned by your supervisor.
Administration:
Check out register cash bag. Close out register after each shift and return close out slip in cash bag.
Financial:
Strong math and communication skills required.
Operations:
Have a keen eye for property presentation.
Respond to guest inquiries and guest feedback in a professional manner.
Project and Planning:
Complete alcohol and food services certificates.
Communication:
Clear communication with Food and Beverage Manager, Restaurant Supervisor, teammates, and Manager on Duty.
Requirements:
Possess and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Available to work weekends and holidays.
Represent the company with a positive and professional image.
Qualifications:
Complete and submit Cashier Training checklist proving knowledge of park and cash register operations.
Outstanding customer service.
Listen to and follow direction accurately.
Complete other tasks or duties as they are assigned by your direct report.
Completed and submitted the Cashier Training checklist proving knowledge of park and cash register operations.
Previous computer, US currency exchanging and up selling preferred but not necessary.
Strong math and communication skills required.
Interact with guests and provide any needed detailed information.
Very knowledgeable of all products of GCAP to assist guests.
Ability to multi task in a fast paced work environment.
Maintain the cleanliness of work area.
Effectively answer any guest questions related to park operations, or know who to ask, MOD.
Complete other tasks or duties as they are assigned by your supervisor.
Must be familiar with what is offered in different areas of the park, including guest services, rides, shops, games and food, in order to direct our guests.
Must be patient, poised and able to cope with special situations.
Courtesy, alertness, a positive attitude and the ability to learn quickly are necessary.
Able to interpret both written & verbal instructions.
Must be 18 years of age and older.
Compensation: This position pays $18.50/hour to $19.50/hour including supplemental tips. The base wage starts at $16.50 per hour.
Beyond Payday Perks:
Within 2026 work the following hours and earn a scholarship! You must be a full-time student enrolled in at least 12 credit hours per semester. Scholarship will be paid directly to your higher education school.
250 hours - $500 higher education scholarship
400 hours - $1,000 higher education scholarship
600 hours - $1,800 higher education scholarship
Pay: $18.50 - $19.50 per hour
