Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards
• Ensure all food is handled safely, stored properly, and prepared in compliance with health regulations
• Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to maintain quality and consistency
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
• Support food presentation and plating to enhance visual appeal for guests
• Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service during busy hours
• Follow all food safety protocols, including proper knife skills and sanitation procedures

Skills

• Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus
• Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations within a restaurant or food industry setting
• Knowledge of menu planning, catering, and fine dining standards
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
• Familiarity with food handling safety practices and sanitation regulations
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
• Experience in food service, food industry roles, or culinary environments is highly desirable

Pay: $17.00 per hour
