Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is handled safely, stored properly, and prepared in compliance with health regulations
- Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to maintain quality and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Support food presentation and plating to enhance visual appeal for guests
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service during busy hours
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper knife skills and sanitation procedures
Skills
- Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Knowledge of menu planning, catering, and fine dining standards
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
- Familiarity with food handling safety practices and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
- Experience in food service, food industry roles, or culinary environments is highly desirable
Pay: $17.00 per hour
