Responsibilities

• Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions with precision.
• Serve customers with a friendly attitude, taking orders, upselling menu items, and providing excellent customer service.
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring the dining area is inviting and sanitary.
• Assist in food handling tasks including packaging, plating, and ensuring proper storage of ingredients.
• Support quick service operations by managing time effectively during busy periods to minimize wait times.
• Follow all food industry regulations related to safety, sanitation, and food handling to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or retail environments such as grocery stores or cafés.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math tasks.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures essential for maintaining hygiene standards.
