Restaurant Delivery Driver

Morningstar Coffee is hiring a dependable, Restaurant Delivery Driver to service our local restaurant and café partners. This is a steady, independent role for someone who likes early starts, organized routes, and building strong relationships with chefs, managers, and baristas.

Our restaurant clients rely on us to keep their coffee program running. Accuracy and timeliness matter.

Schedule

Start time: 8:00 AM

Shift length: 8 hours

Typical flow of the day:

Arrive at 8:00 AM

Review delivery invoices and route

Check in briefly with manager

Load van (if not pre-loaded)

Head out to restaurant and café accounts

Complete deliveries and collect paperwork

Return to warehouse

Prep van for next day

Clock out and go home

Most routes are completed by mid-afternoon.

When not delivering driver will be expected to assist with packing coffee.

Pay & Advancement

Starting wage: $17/hour

After 3 months of solid performance:

Increase to $18/hour

After 1 additional year of satisfactory work (following the 3-month period):

Increase to $20/hour

Core Responsibilities

Daily Route Execution

Drive company van to assigned restaurants and cafés

Deliver coffee, espresso, and related products accurately and on time

Communicate directly with chefs, managers, or bar staff

Maintain strong, professional relationships

Account Support

Rotate stock when needed

Bring product directly to storage areas

Confirm par levels with kitchen or café managers

Note products that are running low

Flag equipment or service issues to management

Documentation & Payment Handling

Obtain signed invoices or proof of delivery

Collect checks when required

Ensure paperwork is completed accurately

Warehouse Wrap-Up

Return to warehouse after route

Stage orders or load van for next day

Assist with light warehouse tasks as needed

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Able to lift and move 30–50 lb coffee cases regularly

Organized and detail-oriented

Comfortable working independently

Professional and respectful in fast-paced restaurant environments

Punctual and dependable

This is a calm but accountable role. Restaurants operate on tight timelines. You are trusted to run your route, communicate clearly, and represent Morningstar professionally.
