Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a positive first impression
• Support food service operations by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
• Take orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and assist with upselling menu items to enhance guest experiences
• Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
• Assist in food preparation and food safety practices to uphold sanitation standards and ensure quality service
• Manage reservations through platforms like OpenTable, coordinating seating flow during busy hours
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and fostering guest relations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, including host/hostess or bussing roles
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety standards within the food industry
• Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus but not required
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude to contribute to team success

Pay: $22.19 - $26.72 per hour
