Restaurant Host

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

• Greet guests upon arrival and escort them to their tables, ensuring a pleasant dining experience from the start.
• Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, assisting with inquiries and reservations while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns with grace, striving to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including the host stand and waiting area.
• Utilize POS system for take-out orders and cash register.
• Assist in other areas of the restaurant as required, contributing to a team-oriented environment..

Experience

• Previous experience as a Host/Host or in a similar food service role is preferred.
• Strong background in customer service, hospitality, or guest relations is essential.
• Familiarity with restaurant operations and experience in a fast-paced environment is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective guest interaction.
• Experience with POS systems.

• 7am-2pm
• 7am-1pm
• 4pm-8pm
• Weekends

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
