Restaurant Host/Hostess

John & Molly’s Tavern is looking for a friendly, energetic, and reliable Host/Hostess to join our team! As the first and last impression of our restaurant, you’ll play a key role in delivering a welcoming and memorable experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and make them feel welcome upon arrival
• Manage waitlists efficiently
• Seat guests in a timely and organized manner
• Communicate clearly with servers and management regarding table status
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area. Hosts collect tips from servers based on sales for cleaning/bussing tables.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times

Qualifications:

• Previous host/hostess or customer service experience preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stay organized and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Availability on nights, weekends, and holidays. (we are closed Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, Week of 4th of July).

Pay explained: Hourly Rate based on experience and performance: $16-$20 per hour plus tips, total pay $19-$24 per hour after tips
