Duties

• Greet guests with a friendly, positive attitude and assist with seating arrangements to optimize flow and guest satisfaction
• Manage reservations and waitlists
• Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant, reservation details and taking phone call in orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and ensure all guest areas are welcoming and inviting
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to communicate guest needs and special requests promptly
• Assist in guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns courteously and effectively
• Support overall restaurant operations by handling guest inquiries, providing directions, and ensuring smooth seating transitions

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Professional phone etiquette and guest relations skills are essential
