We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As the first point of contact, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for the restaurant atmosphere, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements to optimize flow and service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to minimize wait times.
• Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate wait times accurately to guests.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
• Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for managing guest orders when necessary.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring every guest has a positive dining experience.

Requirements

• Previous host/host or restaurant experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with food service operations and hospitality standards.
• Experience with POS systems (Aloha POS or Micros POS) is a plus.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong phone etiquette for handling reservations and guest inquiries.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
